Lampetròn (flashes and thunder) is a traditional music trio from the Apennine area of the “Four Provinces,” located in Italy between the provinces of Alessandria, Genoa, Pavia, and Piacenza. 

The Faravelli-Burrone duo formed almost casually in 2010 through the meeting of two of the most well-known and refined interpreters of the repertoire of the music of the four provinces, Stefano Faravelli and Matteo Burrone, both natives of the region. Since then, the duo has animated and continues to animate evenings in the region, throughout Italy, and in Europe. 

In June 2014, the duo released their first recording titled ““Capitolo I…Per Caso”.”

From the encounter with Daniele Bicego, a new experience in trio is born, living through the continuous struggle or play between past and present, between archaism and modernity, between muse and accordion, like lovers vying for the piffero.
