Marco Volpatto is organist of the groups Spadara and BrigateCorsareFolk from Turin.

At the end of the 1980s, after various musical experiences, he meets the Folk world and culture, particularly those related to the Occitan tradition. A pupil of Vincenzo Caglioti and Dino Tron, he becomes one of the points of reference for Piedmontese folk dancing and, since 1999, has been holding diatonic accordion courses of various levels in Turin and Leinì.

He takes part in numerous international reviews and festivals: Gran Bal Trad, Zingaria, Capodanze, Olimpiadi Torino, notti bianche of San Remo, Aosta and Rome.

To his credit more than a thousand concerts and live shows, one hundred students, two CDs, “Sull’arcobaleno” by Folk Spadara and “MarasmaFolk.”
