Born in Turin, Biella has soon become his adoptive country.

Attracted to music, singing, and folk traditions since youth, he gradually became a passionate amateur enthusiast and scholar, delving especially into the repertoire of the Piedmontese and Aosta Valley regions.

A hurdy-gurdy player and accordeonist, he has been playing and singing in the Biellese group “Quinta Rua” since its foundation.
