After a musical period devoted exclusively to jazz, the flutist from the French groups Djal, Les Doigts De Carmen, Duo Milleret-Mignotte, and Vachinton.G revives his solo bal folk repertoire, initiated in 2015, in an exciting new trio version!
Joined by his fellow musicians from the Irish music group “Gentraige” (from the Pays de Redon region in Brittany), he revisits the repertoire from his 2017 album “Miscellanies”  enriched with new dance compositions for an exclusive two-hour-plus bal folk set.

Scottishes, waltzes, mazurkas, bourrées, rondeaux, circles… The dance music of “Miscellanies” reveals a dreamlike and personal universe, offering a varied balfolk with a special focus on couple dances.
Blending pop, jazz, and funky influences with Irish, Indian, and African sounds, the flutist’s compositions sparkle with jubilant improvisations, supported by an impeccable rhythmic section always in service of the Dance!
